I’m a PGA of Canada Golf Professional with over 30 years of experience as a golf shop operator, manager, teaching professional, coach and mentor. I’ve made a lot of birdies and bogeys along the way but through it all, teaching, coaching and helping others with their golf has been my passion.
I’m an avid Led Zeppelin and Boston Bruins fan and when I’m not busy helping golfers, I enjoy tinkering around trying to play some Zeppelin on my guitar and catching up on the Bruins.
I’ve suffered from chronic back pain over the past 20 years or so, as well as arthritis in my shoulders, all due to past injuries, chronic repetitive strain and a lifestyle of spending most of my working hours standing on my feet for long periods of time. It got so bad that playing golf was difficult, to say the least, never mind a meaningful quality of life. As one doctor commented, “You’re on your way to a wheelchair sooner than you think!” I’ve tried many forms of treatment and fitness training, all good and I continue with many today, but nothing had any long lasting positive change until I found a way to change my body and mind from within. That’s why I’m here today to share that with you. There is a better way to live and play without chronic pain and limitations, and live your best life possible, on and off the course!
