It uses a specialized wooden block called the 'block buddy". Combined with diaphragmatic breathing and your own body weight, it releases deep adhesions in your connective tissue - the fascia - restoring blood and oxygen flow to your cells. This helps relieve chronic pain, reduce tension, boost circulation, release toxins, improve mobility and much more.
Fascia is the connective tissue that holds your entire body together and allows for your range of motion and mobility. Over time, fascia can become stuck to surrounding tissue, creating knots and adhesions that block blood and oxygen flow. The result is pain, reduced function, and poor mobility -making it harder to move properly through your golf swing. Low back pain, shoulder knots, tight hamstrings, hip or knee pain, even plantar fasciitis are all signs your fascia needs attention.
If you don't take care of your fascia, your fascia won't take care of you.
